- Uses komal Re (r), komal Dha (d), and komal Ni (n)
- Shuddh Ni (N) is used near taar Sa; komal Ni (n) is used in middle
- M (vadi) and S (samvadi) are the anchor notes
- The komal Ni gives a Kafi-like touch to the Bhairav framework
- Both forms of Ni create its distinctive character
